La Maison Blanche
La Maison Blanche stands in 4 acres of meadows with olive, fig and fruit trees in a most perfect setting. It is situated less than 2 km from the medieval perched villages of Bargemon and Claviers. It is approximately a 10 - 15 minute walk to Bargemon. The farmhouse is south facing with large terraces cooled by the shade of two huge 100 year old lime trees, which together with a Vine and Wisteria covered canopy provide either total or dappled shade to enable guests to enjoy meals outside, even on the hottest day.
The gardens afford beautiful views of the surrounding hills, with a large 6m x 12 m heated swimming pool, which is expertly cleaned and maintained on a weekly basis. Below the pool there is a Boule court. Croquet can be played on the adjoining lawn and outdoor table tennis table is provided. There is a full compliment of lay-out chairs with mattresses and several tables and chairs situated on the terraces.
La Maison Blanche is used as a family home and is furnished accordingly. The sitting room has an open fire and all rooms are heated in the cooler months. Although fully equipped for 10 people, the house is equally inviting for just two.

Bedroom 1 with 5ft bed and French windows onto a private terrace.

Bedroom 5 is a very large loft bedroom, with twin beds, a cot, and a day-bed. (Extra cots can be provided if necessary). There is a stair gate which is stored in the Annex.

Notes on accommodation:
The house is arranged around two staircases thus allowing for only a part of the house to be used if necessary, and is particularly convenient if more than one family is staying.
Pets are allowed, providing they are house-trained. Guests must ensure that pets do not foul the gardens or house or the security deposit may be forfeit.

Large south facing terraces shaded by two huge Lime Trees giving either complete of dappled shade. There is also a smaller southwest facing terrace. Large swimming pool (12m x 6m) which is professionally maintained. The swimming pool is enclosed (to comply with AFNOR laws). There is a small steam on the garden boundary therefore supervision of small children will be necessary, table tennis, boule court, croquet, barbecue and a full compliment of layout chairs and garden furniture. Gardener two mornings a week.
